Maven Real Estate Partners is a boutique real estate development firm specializing in value-add, multi-family properties. 

 

At Maven, we seek out classic, well-built buildings in established and trending urban neighborhoods. By working within the original structures, we renovate the buildings to provide modern finishes and amenities that today’s tenants desire. From initial acquisition through long-term management, we are proactive in adopting our strategies to ever-evolving market conditions. Currently, we have active projects in Minneapolis and Chicago.

The Maven Team 

JUSTIN GREER, Director of Operations

Justin has more than 16 years of experience in commercial and residential real estate and oversees the construction, financing and project management for Maven. He was previously the Chief Operating Officer of a Chicago-based residential development firm, where he directly oversaw the development of over 1,200 residential units with a sellout of over $315 million. During that time he was also involved in the marketing and sales of an additional 650 units by developer clients of the same firm. Prior to that, Justin had over four years of commercial leasing and acquisition experience at a Chicago-based commercial real estate firm.

Justin is a LEED Green Associate and a licensed real estate broker in Illinois. He holds a BA from the University of Colorado-Boulder and a JD from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law. 

NICK PETERSON, Director of Acquisitions

Nick has more than 18 years of experience in commercial and residential real estate, with a focus on the acquisition and disposition of multi-family property for Maven. He has applied his entrepreneurial drive and unrelenting work ethic within Chicago, Minneapolis/St.Paul,  and Southeast Florida, resulting in transactions of more than $600 million in residential and commercial property values.

Nick has earned a reputation for sourcing unique, off-market opportunities, ensuring the best value and strongest returns for investors. He has demonstrated a keen awareness of market fundamentals, and an ability to locate opportunities before the competition is aware they are in play.

Nick is a licensed real estate broker in Illinois, and is an alumnus of the University of Colorado-Boulder.

EVAN WILLIAMS, Controller

Evan brings over 7 years of commercial and multifamily real estate accounting experience to Maven.  Most recently, he served as the Accounting Manager at Weiss Entities LLC, a Chicago-based real estate developer with a diverse portfolio of multifamily and commercial real estate holdings located in Indiana. Prior to that he was a Senior Associate at JPMorgan Chase within the Private Equity and Real Estate servicing group supporting for several private equity real estate investment clients. Evan also spent five years at Pearlmark Real Estate Partners, a Chicago-based private equity real estate investment firm, where he worked on office, retail and mezzanine debt funds. 

Evan earned an MBA from Valparaiso University and  graduated Cum Laude from Valparaiso University with a BS in Accounting.  He is a Certified Public Accountant in Illinois.
